Yes, we serve Mesa, Gilbert, and throughout Arizona. Our personalized approach ensures you receive quality insurance solutions no matter where you’re located in our service area.
What makes your insurance approach different?
We provide a personalized approach to finding the right coverage for each client. Instead of one-size-fits-all policies, we compare options to ensure you get comprehensive protection tailored to you.
When should I consider umbrella insurance?
Umbrella policies provide extra protection beyond your standard home, auto, or business coverage limits. Consider this coverage if you have significant assets or want additional liability protection.
What business insurance options are available?
We offer tailored business insurance solutions to protect your company’s assets, employees, and operations. Coverage options vary based on your industry, size, and specific business risks.
How does life insurance protect families?
Life insurance provides financial security for your family’s future by replacing lost income and covering expenses. We help determine the right coverage amount based on your family’s needs.
What factors affect homeowners insurance rates?
Rates depend on your home’s value, location, age, construction materials, and coverage limits. Arizona-specific factors like monsoon season and heat damage also influence your premium costs.
Can you help with auto insurance claims?
Yes, we assist with the claims process and provide access to essential insurance claims numbers for quick assistance. Contact us during business hours for help navigating your claim.
What are your business hours?

Homeowners Insurance
Homeowners Insurance questions
What does homeowners insurance cover in Arizona?
A standard Arizona homeowners policy covers the structure of your home, your personal belongings, liability if someone is injured on your property, and additional living expenses if your home becomes uninhabitable after a covered loss. Flood damage is excluded and needs a separate policy.
Does homeowners insurance cover monsoon damage?
Wind, hail and rain damage from monsoon storms is typically covered by a standard homeowners policy, subject to your deductible. Flash flooding is not — that requires separate flood insurance, which we can quote alongside your home policy.
Do you write landlord and rental property policies?
Yes. We write coverage for both owner-occupied homes and rental or investment properties, including the liability exposure that comes with being a landlord.
How often should I review my homeowners coverage?
Review it annually, and any time you renovate, make a large purchase, or property values in your area move significantly. Arizona construction costs have risen steadily, so a dwelling limit set five years ago may no longer rebuild your home today.
Auto Insurance
Auto Insurance questions
What auto insurance is required in Arizona?
Arizona requires every registered vehicle to carry liability coverage. Most drivers add comprehensive and collision, and we will walk you through where the state minimum leaves you exposed before you decide.
Do you write SR-22 filings?
Yes. We write auto insurance for high-risk drivers and drivers who need an SR-22 filed with the state, and we shop those policies across carriers rather than accepting the first quote.
What vehicles beyond cars can you insure?
Motorcycles, motorhomes and RVs, ATVs and UTVs, boats, classic and specialty vehicles, and other "toys" alongside your daily drivers.
Can you help if I move to another state?
Yes. Boone Insurance Group is licensed in 45 states, so a move or a vehicle change does not mean starting over with a new agent.
Business Insurance
Business Insurance questions
What does business insurance cover?
A typical program combines general liability for bodily injury and property damage, commercial property coverage for your equipment and premises, and workers’ compensation if you have employees. Industry-specific coverages such as liquor liability are added where your operations call for them.
Do I need liquor liability coverage?
If your business serves or sells alcohol — a restaurant, bar or venue — liquor liability protects you from claims arising out of that service. General liability policies commonly exclude it.
What size businesses do you work with?
Small to medium enterprises, with particular experience in retail, construction, hospitality and professional services.
Life Insurance
Life Insurance questions
What is the difference between term and permanent life insurance?
Term life covers you for a set number of years at a lower premium and pays out only if you die during that term. Permanent life lasts your whole life and builds cash value, at a higher cost. Which fits depends on what you are protecting and for how long.
How much life insurance do I need?
It depends on the income you are replacing, the debts you would leave behind, and the expenses your family would still face. We work through your current situation and future needs rather than applying a rule of thumb.
Can life insurance fund a business succession?
Yes. Business continuity is one of the common uses we plan for, alongside income replacement and debt payoff.
Umbrella Policies
Umbrella Policies questions
What does umbrella insurance actually cover?
It pays liability claims that exceed the limits of your underlying auto, home or rental policies — serious at-fault auto accidents, injuries on your property, dog bites and personal injury lawsuits among them.
Who should consider an umbrella policy?
Homeowners, business owners, landlords and parents of teen drivers. If you have assets a lawsuit could reach, an umbrella is the cheapest way to protect them.
Is an umbrella cheaper than raising my limits?
Usually yes. Raising liability limits on each individual policy costs more than layering one umbrella policy above all of them, which is why we quote it that way.
Renters Insurance
Renters Insurance questions
Do I need renters insurance in Arizona?
Arizona does not require it by law, but many landlords do as a condition of the lease. Without it, nothing you own inside the unit is covered — your landlord’s policy insures the building only.
What does renters insurance cover?
Your personal belongings, your personal liability if someone is injured in your unit, and additional living expenses if a covered loss forces you out temporarily.
Does renters insurance cover my belongings outside the apartment?
Generally yes — personal property coverage typically follows your belongings away from the unit, subject to your policy limits.
SR-22 & High-Risk Auto
SR-22 & High-Risk Auto questions
What is an SR-22 in Arizona?
It is a certificate your insurance company files with the Arizona MVD confirming you carry at least the state-required liability coverage. It is not a policy or a type of insurance — it is proof attached to one.
Why do I need an SR-22?
Arizona commonly requires one after a DUI, an at-fault accident while uninsured, driving on a suspended licence, or accumulating too many points on your record.
How long do I have to carry an SR-22?
The requirement is set by the state based on the underlying violation. We will confirm your specific term and file the certificate for as long as it is required.
Will my rate come down eventually?
As the violation ages and your record improves, better pricing usually becomes available. We review high-risk policies rather than leaving them to renew at the same rate indefinitely.
Workers’ Compensation
Workers’ Compensation questions
Is workers’ compensation required in Arizona?
Yes. Arizona requires employers to carry workers’ compensation coverage for their employees, with narrow exceptions. Operating without it exposes the business to penalties and to direct liability for injuries.
What does workers’ compensation pay for?
Medical treatment for a work-related injury or illness and a portion of the wages the employee loses while recovering. It also provides the employer liability protection that keeps most injury claims out of court.
How is the premium calculated?
Primarily from your payroll and the class codes describing the work being performed. Because both change over time, an annual review is worth doing — outdated codes and payroll are a common source of overpayment.
Commercial Auto
Commercial Auto questions
Do I need commercial auto insurance?
If vehicles are used for business purposes — deliveries, service calls, hauling equipment, transporting clients — yes. Personal auto policies commonly exclude business use, so a claim can be denied on a vehicle you thought was covered.
What about employees using their own cars for work?
That exposure sits with the business, not only the employee. Coverage can be arranged to respond when someone drives their own vehicle on company business.
Can commercial auto be bundled with my other business coverage?
Yes, and it generally should be. Writing it alongside general liability, property and workers’ compensation keeps the limits coordinated and avoids gaps between separate policies.
Motorcycle, RV & Specialty
Motorcycle, RV & Specialty questions
Does my auto policy cover my motorcycle?
No. Motorcycles need their own policy. The coverage, the liability exposure and the way the vehicle is rated all differ from a car.
What is agreed-value coverage for a classic car?
You and the insurer agree on the vehicle’s value when the policy is written, and that is what is paid on a total loss. It avoids the depreciation-based settlement a standard policy would apply — which rarely reflects what a collector vehicle is actually worth.
Do I need separate insurance for an RV?
Yes. An RV is both a vehicle and, while parked, effectively a residence. RV policies cover both sides of that, including contents and liability at the campsite, which an auto policy does not.
